2009 IIT JEE Topper – Nitin Jain

Nitin Jain from Faridabad achieved the AIR 1 in IIT JEE 2009. He become the IIT JEE Topper by scoring 424 out of 480 marks. Sharing the secret of his success, he gave all credit to his learning strategy, being attentive in IIT JEE entrance coaching and mastering basic concepts.

He studied B tech Computer Science at IIT Delhi. He was a gold medalist at International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics in 2010.

What is Nitin Jain doing now?

After studying at IIT, Nitin Jain did his internship from Zomato in Dublin. He was hired by Twitter in campus placements. He is currently working with Google in San Francisco.

2010 IIT JEE Topper (AIR 1) – Anumula Jithendar Reddy

Anumula Jithendar Reddy from Warangal, Telangana become the topper of IIT JEE in 2010 by scoring 418 out of 489 marks. Sharing his success story, he said he was focused and interested in studies since childhood. He was enrolled in a two year IIT JEE entrance coaching program and used to study 10-12 hours regularly.

He completed his B Tech Electrical Engineering degree at IIT Bombay.

What is Anumula doing?

After completing his studies at JEE, Anumula interned at QEA Eduventure. He is presently working as a Research Assistant at Caltech SURFriends in Pasadena, California.

2011 IIT JEE Topper – Immadi Prudhvi Tej

Immadi Prudhvi Tej from Andhra Pradesh’s West Godavari was the JEE Topper of 2011. He achieved AIR 1 in IIT-JEE (JEE Advanced now) and AIR 7 in AIEEE (JEE Main now). He scored 440 out of 480 marks in IIT JEE Exam.

In an interview when asked about his preparation strategy, he said he used to spend 6 hours in IIT JEE Entrance Coaching Classes everyday and 6 hours at home for practice and revision. He took tests on a regular basis to track his preparation level as well as speed and accuracy in the exam. He studied BTech Electrical Engineering (2011-15) at IIT-Bombay.

What is Prudhvi Tej doing?

After completing his graduation at IIT, Prudhvi Tej worked with Samsung for a year in South Korea. He fulfills his dream of becoming an IAS officer to serve the country.  He appeared in UPSC CSE 2017 and achieved AIR 24. He is presently a civil servant with the Indian Government.

2012 JEE Topper – Arpit Aggarwal

Arpit Aggrawal, JEE Topper 2012, from Faridabad achieved AIR 1 by scoring 385 out of 408 marks in IIT-JEE exam. In an interview, Arpit talked about how he started preparing for IIT-JEE when he was in Class XI and how his CBSE background helped him crack the exam. The lessons taught in school were very helpful. He also joined IIT JEE Entrance Coaching classes in Delhi which held 2 to 3 times a week.

He pursued BTech Computer Science and Engineering (2012-16) at IIT-Delhi.

What is Arpit Aggarwal doing?

After studying at IIT, Arpit Aggarwal did his internship from Tower Research Capital in 2014 and Deutsche Bank in 2015. He is presently working as a Strategist at Tower Research Capital.

2013 JEE Topper – Pallerla Sai Sandeep Reddy

Pallerla Sai Sandeep Reddy from Andhra Pradesh is the topper of the JEE 2013. He secured AIR 1 by scoring 332 out of 360 marks in JEE. Sandeep always wanted to crack  JEE but he became serious towards his goal after class 10. Sandeep used to study 12-14 hours preparing for his IIT JEE. After completing his graduation, Sai Sandeep did his internship with American Express. He also worked as a Teaching Assistant with Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

2014 JEE Topper – Chitraang Murdia

Chitraang Murdia, from Rajasthan, topped the JEE 2014 by scoring 334 out of 360 marks in the IIT JEE exam. According to Chitarang, hard work, focus and determination to explore the facts, fundamentals and concepts helped him perform spectacularly in the exam.

As the syllabus of JEE Main and Advanced is very enormous, IIT JEE entrance coaching helped him in creating the environment and the motivation to go through the whole syllabus. Whatever is taught in coaching, he used to revise on the same day and completed all the assignments in the appropriate time. He pursued B.Tech. in Computer Science from IIT Bombay.

What is Chitraang Murdia doing?

Chitraang Murdia left IIT Bombay after the first year to pursue research in Physics. He chose to quit IIT Bombay and pursue Physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where he has got the scholarship for admission.
